Sausage and Broccoli Stir-Fry

Sausage and Broccoli Stir-Fry


  • 1 pack of Green Acres Angus Beef Sausages
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 2 cups small broccoli florets
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 2 tsp. minced fresh ginger
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup oyster sauce
  • 1/4 cup low sodium chicken broth or water
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. cornstarch
  • Salt and pepper to taste







Step 1

Heat 1/2 tbsp. of oil in a fry pan over medium heat. Add the broccoli and mushrooms and cook for 4 minutes or until vegetables are tender

Step 2

Add the ginger and garlic to the pan and cook for an additional 30 seconds

Step 3

Remove the vegetables from the pan; place aside and cover

Step 4

Wipe the pan clean with a paper towel and turn the heat to high. Add the remaining tablespoon of oil

Step 5

Season the Green Acres Angus Beef Sausage with salt and pepper (to taste) and add them to the pan. Cook for 5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through

Step 6

Add the vegetables back to the pan and cook for 2 more minutes until the vegetables are warmed through

Step 7

In a bowl whisk together the oyster sauce, sugar, sesame oil and soy sauce. In a separate bowl mix the cornstarch with a tablespoon of cold water

Step 8

Pour the oyster sauce mixture over the Sausage and vegetables and cook for 30 seconds. Add the cornstarch and bring to a boil.  Cook for 1 more minute or until sauce has just started to thicken

Step 9

Serve immediately and enjoy. Recommended to serve with rice
